Summer Shorts 4: Aging & a Big Bang!

Fabulous insight from Michael Hodin in his July 12th HuffPost’s blog, What Higgs Boson can teach us about Aging Populations. Are we looking for a “Big Bang” moment where social innovations are activated to address the effects of an aging population? As Hodin says bang on:

“…as we prepare to have over 2 billion people over 60 in the next couple of decades, we continue to grasp onto models of work, health and retirement that are mysteriously stuck in time… at antithetical with the reality of our aging world.”

I’ve mentioned before the likes of MIT, TAGlab & the Baycrest Centre who may not be looking for the “God particle” – but they’re doing some great work searching for the “Age particle”
