The International Federation on Ageing is holding its 14th global conference, Aug.8-10, 2018 in Toronto.
Under the title – Towards a Decade of Healthy Ageing, From Evidence to Action – there are four major theme areas, Addressing Inequalities, Age-Friendly Environments, Combating Ageing and Toward Healthy Ageing. Specific session speakers and topics are to be determined, but the call for abstracts will be closing on December 1st 2017, which is only two months away.
One of the key features at this event on August 7th are the pre-conference Master Classes. This is an extraordinary opportunity for delegates to learn and engage with experts in one of seven highly specialized workshops, which focus on some of the key challenges in the field of ageing today.
What is an extra proud moment is that it gives Canadian professionals in the field to showcase their work to so many people from around the world. Here is one such example to share with you, which will be of special interest to some friends and colleagues of mine who are in service delivery or policy roles in Elder Care. Great connections are afoot!
