Founding Change Rangers in 1996, Mark works with non-profit and business leaders, offering insights and direction on the Business and Social Aspects of Aging Demographics. Here on this website he writes a weekly blog to advance this conversation.
Mark has a vast knowledge of aging, longevity and retirement issues and delivers presentations, advisory & research services on topics such as – marketing to segments of a Boomer + audience, developing an organizational plan to be more relevant with the shift in demographics, and community design.
With a special focus on Entreprenuership in Later Life, Mark works 1:1 with individuals to assist as they reinvest their talent to design a “portfolio” of entrepreneurial activity to include “free agent” expertise-based project work or starting a consultancy business.
Mark is a member on the marketing committee of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Business of Aging: Information Exchange Network (BA:IEN) at the Sheridan Centre for Elder Research. He is co-founder (2014) of Planet Longevity a thought leadership panel, and Director of Corporate Development to a Brain Imaging Research company, Cognimetrix Inc. He joined Futurpreneur Canada in 2014 as a mentor for young entrepreneurs.
Mark’s expertise in career & talent development as a facilitator and adviser has found him working in both the corporate and not for profit sectors. He held an industry role (2004-2007), as Global President for the Association of Career Professionals International (ACP International). Mark is Past Board Chair and current Governance Committee Chair for the Canadian Education & Research Institute for Counselling (CERIC) (2014-2016).
