Career Strategy Programs
Career services for organizations and individuals – executives and senior level professionals, exploring later life career options and Re-working Retirement.
Uniquely for Boomer audiences in change mode, personalized programs are offered directly to individuals or through the organizations they currently work for. Looking to design a portfolio career, embrace self employment or Re-work Retirement – however you put it, you are ready for something realistic for the future other than a traditional job.
In order to be accessible and continue to engage individual clients in personalized conversation, a Change Rangers strategist will only work with 10 to 12 clients at a time.

Are you aiming for more than the “one size fits all” outlook on work search and later life career planning?
This is a program for 50+ executives and senior level professionals, who want a personalized encounter with a career strategist who serves as a sounding board and moves them beyond the passive route of hooking to internet Job Boards and cranking out Resumes.
Together we explore career options and problem-solve work search issues that are real for Boomers in change mode through:
- Assessments based on the later life career profile of the individual.
- Designing a later life portfolio career that relates to a person’s true motivations and interests.
- Helping you understand the age factor – “get over it”.
A $4000 customized program over a 12 month period will include 20 hours in a combination of one to one discussion, career and financial assessments, development of self marketing materials and administrative support – even when you have activated your new plan.

“Re-working Retirement” is the name of the game this decade. The word is out. It is not a retreat or withdrawal. A “reprise” on the other hand is a renewal of an action or movement!
In Canada, as of 2004 – 46% of Boomers (1946 – 1966) are close to retirement or pre-retirement years. For people in “pre- retirement thinking”, who are challenged by change and choice, the pattern of life evolves beyond yesterday’s version of retirement. And we are living longer in the process.
While integrating work and life choices – managing time and finances, (for ourselves, elder parents and young adult children); we ride on a wave of decisions that land on shore earlier and more often than expected.
This program helps and supports as you:
- Reprise your “life’s journey” and set you on the road with renewed definition.
- Design a strategic “career integration” plan for the integration of work, community action, personal desires, learning and relationship building for later life.
- Connect and contract with organizations in search of results through senior expertise.
A $2500 program over a 12 month period covers 12 hours of one to one discussion, career and financial assessments, development of self marketing materials and administrative support – even if you decide to take a break before you activate your reprise.

Starting a Business can be a lucrative career choice that feeds your preference for independence. It is predicted that paid work may account for 11% of expected retirement income.
Your self employment venture could meet that 11% solution. This entrepreneurial program is delivered by professionals with business and financial backgrounds who has evaluated and approved business plans for over 7 years. This program will help you:
- Assess and define the business idea and prepare a business plan.
- Put you in touch with the right resources and networks to get you in motion.
- Support you through the challenges and problem solve with you in the “teething period” of your start up.
A $3500 program over a 12 month period covers 18 hours of business plan development, one to one discussion, connections to the resources you need, (including a financial review) and follow up support – even after you’ve pitched your tent in the quaking ground of an entrepreneur.
Follow up business advisory after the first year is offered at a negotiated fee based on the level of ongoing support you need to succeed past your start up phase.
